Today, I found a Web site founded by several computer engineers in
USA. The four founders are all non-Asians, all in the States now, and
all male. Except these common points, two of the founders are actually
immigrants in the States. One if a French, the other a Brazilian. I
wish they can recruit a female into this team. Back to the point about
what is fun with this Web site.
These people have done one thing I had dreamed to have since I was a
little girl. Actually, I might have heard of this kind of travel
expeirences and ways. They let people put on their own pictures and
discriptions about their hobbies, location, language, and more so that
other free members could come to those open-door members' life and be
a world wonderer. With a bottle of wine or some snacks or nothing, you
knock on a stranger's door and sleep for a night for free.
What a great idea. As I just got to know from a ABC's program that the
Earth would be destroyed by human being's activities, at least this
Web site is not something in the list of activities that would ruin
the Earth.
