Amazing day, amazing hiking, amazing Web site

We get the Shengen multiple visa ten days ago. Before we got the visa,
I told Jacques that we should prepare for the hiking in Paris so as to
save both time and, probably, money. Jacques was quite used to hiking.
When he was a college student, he had hiked those famous resort cities
around Nanjing. When we met, I found his feet could not walk straight.
His gait becomes a daily laughing stock in our everyday life.

When we arrived in Montreal, we had to plan how to use our tiny
savings least so that we cam survive until the day one of us find a
job. For this reason and others, we started to walk around our
neighborhoods. The first week, we found lots of beautiful yards in our
neighborhoods. The second week, the weather here turned to be really
smuggy. We stopped hiking. When August began, we bought two weekly
metro tickets, which kept us away from hiking for lots of fun and
comfortable scenes. At the same time, I started to feel a necessity to
go hiking every afternoon. Hiking makes my shoulders and backaches go
away. Besides, I love the delightful Montreal summer a lot.

The third weekend of August was chilly. We went out for two long
hiking although it was raining during the two days. After that, we
stopped going our for almost a week. I fell into a state of being
slouchy and languid. Today, we went out for another small hiking. It
ended up a two-hour one. Starting from the second hour, I began to
sweat a little bit. Another half hour later, I could barely stride, my
arms started to swing a lot. When we finally made home, I was a little
listless and thirsty.

Well, I always try to figure our how many miles I have walked during
the past several weeks. I use yahoo map since it is able to save
addresses. But today's hiking was too long and too exaustive, we
forgot some numbers on the main routes. Google is such an amazing tool
in my life. I found a good place to draw my walk. Although it took me
an hour to find out that we walked 5.63 miles today, I finally get an
exact datum. This amazing Web site also tells that the hike spent me
about 349 calories. Besides, I saved my today's hiking route
(http://walkingguide.mapmyrun.com/view_route.php?r=1332b9a129577b5c32b3aa807221006d)
for my own records. If I can whistle, I hope you can hear that.
