The fifth Apprentice series is coming to the end of the series. Sean
and Lee are project managers for Synerge and Gold Rush respectively.
Each of them was given chances to select three people from previous
team members. The play did not tell how these people were divided for
Shawn and Lee to choose. I guess these people they themselves are the
ones that have decided who they want to have for their manager.
Generally speaking, both of Lee and Sean have shown their weak points
in tonight's show.Lee had several mistakes shown in the show. First of
all, he missed a major point in getting the major points for project
from the two key toners. Besides choosing a guy that had been kicked
out of the program at the second week, Lee chose to listen to his
Russian brother, to whom Lee had shown his only loyalty in the series.
I mean, Lee chose his team members all based on the Lenny's opinion.
Lee's human resources made a laughing stock in the board room. I guess
he trusted on his own ability and decision in marketing and analysis
fields but not the one about human resources. I agree with him on this
point, but I disagree with him about his recruitment.Lee should not
put all his eggs in one basket. In another word, Lee should not trust
a person who had not been very successful no matter how talented Lee
thinks he himself is. I think Lee should choose Charman or Allie
instead of Roxanne. To me, Roxanne is only a good communictor. She
came up to the last four shows is because she knows who she should
stick with but not because she has a high commercial quotient.Talking
about Shawn. I had never thought that he should be an apprentice.
Sean looks smart, dresses smart, and talks in a smart way. But I
simply do not think he has the potential to carry off. In this show,
Shawn made a smart decision to choose a team of excellent and highly
qualified team members. Oh, I almost forgot that Sean is a human
resource consultant. Probably, it is his work experiences that
distinguished him out from a bunch of smart people in the whole show.
Talking about Sean's selection, I have to say that he did not consider
loyalty an essential post in his team. I do agree with him in this
point althought that Russian guy would take royalty as the only
criterion in recruiting. But in tonight's show, Sean's team member,
Andrea, left the team for a minor problem. The blemish Sean probably
had done for a possble failure in this finale is that he did not shown
a proper attitude in terms of emergency. He or his sweetheart should
have taken one hour to go together with Andrea for the check so that
he could win some time in getting all the necessary information he
needs for the project from Andrea. If loyalty is a crutial fact for
success, Shawn is given a test at this time.In tonight's show, 63
percent of people gave their votes to Sean for his perfect team. Is
Sean getting a sure-fire win? This depends on how much he can get from
Andrea's work.
Also, I disagree his selection of Tammy. Tammy maybe smart and
intelligent enough but she could not conciliate with other people who
are as tallent and gifted as she does. Tammy and Shawn are in a specal
relationship now. This gives Tammy another excuse to win favorite in
front of her lover. From my point of view, Tammy wants to be the
Apprentice instead of supporting Shawn to win for this job.
At the final moment, Sean spent a lot of time with a sweetie he fell
in love with. But Tammy, as a team member, did not show any care for
Andrea. Instead, she told Andrea to get some pills in a nearby store
for the last moment. If it was in China, I would agree with this girl.
But this is America. People consider themselves the number one in the
world. Any people who do not care the other person's personal issues
is not a good leader.In addition, Terek had criticised Shawn for not
showing up in an important talk. In the beginning of the show, Sean
scorned at Lee's team. I am sure he had overflowed his confidence in
strategic parts.
Who will win out? I did not have any clue yet. In terms of their
behaviors, I like Lee's better, and I just vote for Lee on NBC.com.
